Employment Court Judge farewelled by Rainey Collins Partner

At the recent retirement of Employment Court Judge Coral Shaw, partner Alan Knowsley spoke on behalf of the Employment Law Institute.  Alan thanked Judge Shaw for her support of the Institute and wished her well in her new role as a Judge on the United Nations Labour Court.  This new Court will hear claims by UN staff regarding their employment.

The Employment Law Institute includes lawyers and advocates from throughout New Zealand working in the employment area and regularly arranges educational talks and seminars by Judges, practitioners, politicians and others on aspects of interest to its members.  The Institute is also consulted on law changes and makes submissions on improvements to the law.
