We are looking for a part-time Legal Secretary with a 'can-do' attitude to join our busy Maori Issues Team for 20 hours per week.

We value our friendly team highly, and you will have the personality to work well in our small, close team, and deliver our clients a high level of service.

You will be computer literate and have excellent keyboard skills and telephone manner.  You will need to be able to multi-task and be calm under pressure.  A warm, approachable manner is essential in this position.

Due to our increased levels of work in the Family Law area we are looking for an experienced lawyer to join our growing team. The work will be mainly in the areas of Relationship Property, Contracting Out Agreements and Childcare Arrangements. This work is undertaken for private fee-paying clients.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated their experience and aptitude in representing clients in Court, as well as managing client relationships and files at a high level. Supervision and mentoring of other staff is also an important part of the position, so that they gain the benefits of learning from the professional and senior members of the team.

The position we have is up to a full-time role, but we are very flexible in work arrangements and can accommodate a candidate wanting to work in both an agile environment as well as a more office-based position. This can be either full-time or part-time to suit. 

Commencing remuneration will be in the range of $100K to $130K for a full-time role, and will depend on the skills and experience of the appointee, who will be well organised and have excellent people skills.
