Receptionist

We are looking for an experienced, cheerful and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive firm.

You will be computer savvy in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.  Other software packages will be taught inhouse. 

Your main tasks will include answering the phone and directing calls or taking messages, greeting our clients and making them feel welcome, arranging couriers, opening files, preparing initial correspondence to clients, preparing invoices, processing EFTPOS payments, verifying client IDs for Anti Money Laundering purposes, managing meeting rooms and keeping them clean and tidy, setting up laptops for virtual meetings/webinars, setting up webinars and sending invitations and data entry.

Litigation (Treaty and Maori Legal) 2+ PQE

  • Considering evidence and drafting legal documents;
  • Drafting and presenting legal submissions;
  • Briefing and leading witnesses;
  • Appearing before the Waitangi Tribunal;
  • Working with government agencies; and
  • Some general litigation and commercial work.

Remuneration will vary depending on your experience and demonstrated capabilities and we review at least based on performance.
