Former Rainey Collins Partner Appointed Solicitor General And Chief Executive Of The Crown Law Office

Former Rainey Collins Partner, Dr David Collins QC, has been appointed the Solicitor General and Chief Executive of the Crown Law Office.

The Solicitor General is the Government’s chief legal advisor, and is also chief advocate for the Government in the Courts, in particular the Supreme Court.  Rainey Collins wishes Dr Collins and his family all the very best with his new appointment which will take effect on 1 September 2006.

Dr Collins’ appointment follows the resignation of Terrance Arnold QC who became a Judge of the High Court and Court of Appeal in May.
