Employer ordered to pay $45,000 after worker injured
An employer that failed to have safety measures in place to protect its employees was fined $37,000 and ordered to pay reparation of $8,100 in the District Court.
An investigation by the Department of Labour had found no measures in existence to protect employees from the hazards.
