The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal has found a chiropractor unfit to practice because he was guilty of dishonesty for falsely claiming ACC payments for patients not seen.  The false claiming jeopardised the interests of patients because it could affect future treatment and entitlements.

The Tribunal struck off the practitioner and imposed conditions should he ever seek to be registered again.  These include undergoing ethics training, auditing for two years and a ban from owning or managing a practice for two years.
