A teacher faced a disciplinary charge and sought suppression of their name.  In support of that application they filed an affidavit with evidence.  Their application for name suppression was declined.

A lawyer then applied for a copy of the supporting affidavit.  The Disciplinary Tribunal declined to release the affidavit, holding that the Tribunal was excluded from the Official Information Act because of its role as a disciplinary body.  It also held that, although there had been no application to suppress the affidavit evidence, it was implicit that the evidence would be considered by the Tribunal in private and there was no public interest in its release.
