Alka Ahirao

Alka is a solicitor in the Māori Issues team at Rainey Collins. She is involved in the firm’s Waitangi Tribunal and Māori land law work.

Open and approachable, Alka ensures that her clear communication and friendly manner puts people at ease.

Alka was born and raised in Wellington, and completed her LLB and BA majoring in Political Science and International Relations from Victoria University of Wellington in 2022.

In her spare time Alka enjoys spending time with friends and whānau, sewing and handcrafts, and exploring all the good food options Te Whanganui-a-Tara has to offer.
