Teacher’s identity revealed to the public after he expressed an interest in under aged girls…
The Teachers Disciplinary Tribunal has ordered that a teacher’s name be published after he had his registration cancelled.
The teacher had admitted to expressing an interest in watching an under aged girl be sexually violated by a group of people, and had confessed to wanting to have sexual intercourse with under aged girls.
The Tribunal found that the public interest in knowing his identity outweighed his own private interests, especially as he had no name suppression in criminal proceedings and there was no apparent risk to schools, students or interested persons by publishing his name.
The Tribunal held that all other details surrounding the school and students where he had taught should be suppressed.
