Teacher de-registered for assault on a child…
The Teachers Disciplinary Tribunal has considered a teacher’s conviction for assault on a child in the District Court for which she was sentenced to 70 hours community work and six months supervision. The Tribunal ordered that the teacher’s name be struck from the roll of teachers and she be censured.
