Minimum wage change
The Government has announced a change to the minimum wage.
As from 1 April 2013 the following rates apply:
- Adult rate $13.75 per hour (up from $13.50)
- New entrants and trainees $11 per hour (up from $10.80).
It is unlawful to pay less than the minimum wage so ensure you adjust anyone affected to the new levels.
