Rainey Collins was delighted to host a breakfast symposium with Te Awe, Wellington’s Maori Business Network at its offices recently. The speakers included Lieutenant General Jerry Mateparae ONZM, Chief of New Zealand Defence Force and Steve Murray, Managing Director of EDS New Zealand and former CEO of Tainui Group Holdings.

Chairman of Partners James Johnston chaired the symposium. Topics covered included what makes a good leader, whether leaders were made or born and a detailed analysis of the key qualities of leadership.

The function was well attended by the Wellington Maori Business Community and Te Awe members. The level of audience participation and positive feedback capped off a very successful function.
