Insurance Law Association Conference
Alan Knowsley had the pleasure of helping to organise the recent NZ Insurance Law Conference held at the Town Hall. Over 200 members of the insurance industry attended from New Zealand and Australia. Much of the conference centred on the issues arising from the Christchurch earthquakes but many recent developments in the insurance industry were covered by the very good speakers. Alan was particularly involved in thanking Justice Peter Blanchard of the Supreme Court for his address covering recent legal developments and Geoff Sharp and panel on insurance mediations.
