Fraud in the workplace not for profit seminar
Alan Knowsley (Litigation Partner & President of the Employment Law lnstitute) welcomed members of the not for profit sector to a recent joint seminar at Rainey Collins sponsored by Rainey Collins, Westpac and Grant Thornton Accountants.
The seminar provided tips and techniques for avoiding hiring potential fraudsters, steps to prevent fraud, how to recognize signs of fraud and what to do when fraud is discovered.
Also speaking were Grant Henderson, Head of Fraud for Westpac New Zealand, on fraud from a banking perspective, and Brent Kennerley of Grant Thornton, with the accountant’s perspective.
