Foreshore & Seabed – Release of Crown Policy Proposals Imminent

The Crown’s Policy Proposals for the foreshore and seabed are due to be released to the public on Wednesday 17 December 2003.

The release of the Policy Proposals follows the holding of a number of hui around the country and the receipt of over 2,000 written submissions.

A Judicial Conference of the Waitangi Tribunal is to be held on Monday 22 December 2003 to determine whether or not the urgent hearing on the foreshore and seabed is to proceed on 15 January 2004.

James and Peter Johnston of Rainey Collins will be attending the Judicial Conference.
