Rainey Collins sponsorship of the Wellington Maori Business Network (Te Awe) was announced by Te Awe Chairman Mahanga Maru at a breakfast function held at Te Papa recently.

Mr Maru thanked Rainey Collins for their commitment to Te Awe and referred to the firm’s status as the preferred legal advisors to Te Awe.

Rainey Collins Chairman James Johnston addressed the function about the “mutual opportunities” that the sponsorship created for both Rainey Collins and the Wellington Maori Business Network. According to Mr Johnston “Rainey Collins is very pleased to support the Wellington Maori Business Network and looks forward to a mutually beneficial and ongoing relationship”.

The guest speaker at the function was Wellington Mayor Kerry Prendergast. The Mayor’s presentation involved a clear explanation of her vision for Wellington and more particularly focussed upon relationship building and the importance of the “creative sector”.
