ANZELA held its annual conference recently and this year it was in Rotorua and Chaired by Alan Knowsley.  Conference delegates attended from New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, the United States, Korea and Saudi Arabia.  The conference theme was Woteva Nxt! And looked at challenges in Education Law in the digital age.  Key note speakers were Justice Stephen Kos of the NZ High Court, Professor Sir Mason Durie recently retired from Massey University and Jason Newman from Tress Cox in Melbourne.  Judging by the feed back received both during and after the conference the papers presented were of a very high standard and were very useful and enjoyable.  Next year’s conference will be in Hobart.
