Arising from a marriage breakup a teacher was convicted of threats, breaching a protection order, trespass and wilful damage.

The Disciplinary Tribunal found that these amounted to serious misconduct but did not require cancellation of the teacher’s practicing certificate.  As well as a censure, conditions were put in place that he inform any employer or prospective employer of the disciplinary proceeding and decision and provide to the Education Council quarterly reports from his counsellor or other mental health practitioner for three years.
