The Disciplinary Tribunal has censured and cancelled the registration of a school principal who completed her own appraisal and forged the appraiser’s signature (who had not done the appraisal).

The principal’s actions breached fundamental obligations of honesty and brought the profession into disrepute.

Interestingly the teacher’s appraisal was supposedly done by her husband (principal at another school) which if true would also have not been appropriate due to the clear conflict of interest in appraising your own spouse.
