Nurse suspended for accessing records…
The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal has found a nurse guilty of serious misconduct for inappropriately accessing and viewing electronic records of a patient.
The nurse was censured and suspended for three months and ordered to pay $21,000 costs.
The conditions imposed include that she is to undergo training regarding ethics and patient privacy and confidentiality, when she returns to practice.
