The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal has fined a dental technician who practiced without a current Practicing Certificate.  Reminders of the need to renew her practicing certificate had been sent to the technician and on four previous occasions she had made late application for a certificate.  The technician was censured, ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 and ordered to pay over $10,000 towards the costs of the prosecution.
