The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal has cancelled the registration of a medical practitioner who was sentenced to five years imprisonment for stupefying patients and then indecently assaulting them.
The Tribunal noted that after the doctor has finished his term of imprisonment he is likely to be deported from New Zealand and therefore unlikely to ever practice here again.
