The Licensed Building Practitioners Board has found a builder guilty of negligence and bringing the building profession into disrepute.

The building work failed multiple inspections, not all of which were rectified by the builder.  In addition the builder fraudulently falsified a producer statement.

As a result of the builder’s outrageous actions the Board cancelled his licence for five years and ordered him to pay $2,000 costs. The cancellation of his licence was necessary to protect the public from his poor building practices and fraudulent activity.
