The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal has censured a nurse and suspended him for 9 months after he was convicted of 32 charges of dishonesty in the District Court. He was charged with using a document for pecuniary advantage. The Tribunal found that the convictions adversely impacted on his fitness to practice as a nurse.

The nurse has to advise any prospective employer of the decision for 12 months after he returns to practice and is to undertake supervision for 18 months with an approved supervisor.
