Partner Alan Knowsley attended the recent NZ Lions Convention in Whangarei as the Honorary Legal Counsel.

Lots of remits and interesting speakers including Sir Richard Faull from the Brain Research Trust and Prof Stephen Munn from the Liver Transplant Unit, both of which are supported by Lions. Alan has been Legal Counsel since 1999.

The NZ Lions is an organisation made up of community volunteers who help out various groups and individuals all around New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Their work doesn’t focus on one particular area, but is inclusive of various groups, whether it be helping young people, assisting the elderly or contributing to the creation and maintenance of a better environment. NZ Lions contribute more than $100 million each year to charitable organisations, through donations and community projects.
