Midwife struck off for social media posts…
The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal has found a midwife guilty of professional misconduct for social media posts.
The posts initially concerned the COVID vaccine but then expanded to include copies of correspondence with the Midwifery Council and named the complainants by including their names from that correspondence.
The Tribunal found that the nurse’s actions lowered the profession in the eyes of the public and amounted to professional misconduct.
The nurse was censured and her registration cancelled.
