Wade is a solicitor in our Dispute Resolution and Litigation Team, with a focus on Family law, Employment law, and Civil Litigation.

Wade joined Rainey Collins following a role as counsel for the Chief Executive of Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children, where he specialised in child protection law and parenting.

His extensive career also includes years of international and local experience in the funeral services industry in a variety of roles alongside valuable legal experience working within the District Court and Family Court Registry.

Outside of his legal practice, Wade is a Justice of the Peace and a registered Marriage Celebrant. He is actively involved in governance within the Sisters of Mercy, serving as the chairperson of the Te Ngākau Kotahi Advisory Board and as a board member for the Whānau Mercy Education Proprietor Board, which oversees capital works and the special character of St Mary’s and St Catherine’s Colleges in Wellington. Wade is also a trustee for the Shakespeare Globe Centre New Zealand Trust Board.
