Nicole is a Solicitor in the Litigation Team and is involved in the firm’s Waitangi Tribunal, Maori land law and litigation work.

Enthusiastic and approachable, Nicole brings great energy to the firm. In her previous role she was a key figure representing clients in the Northland Historical Inquiry and in the Whakatohea Mandate Urgency Inquiry. Nicole is passionate about Maori issues and is highly results driven in this field.

Growing up in Greymouth on the West Coast of the South Island, and completing her secondary education in Christchurch, Nicole then journeyed South to study at Otago University. In 2012 she completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Politics, alongside her LLB with particular emphasis on Human Rights and Constitutional Issues.

Following her graduation, Nicole travelled the US and Europe working as a summer camp counsellor, an Au Pair, and a horse riding instructor.

Keeping extremely busy outside of work, Nicole volunteers regularly with Community Law Wellington and for the Boys and Girls Institute. She also finds time to play tennis, do yoga, horse ride, and read. She is a keen amateur actress, recently playing the lead role in a production by the Mana Little Theatre Company in Plimmerton.
