Matthew Binnie

Matthew is part of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team at Rainey Collins. He works across a range of family, employment, and civil litigation matters, helping clients navigate legal disputes.

Matthew focuses on efficiency and clear communication when dealing with complex legal issues. He is committed to ensuring that clients feel informed, supported, and well-prepared throughout the process.

Matthew grew up in Scotland, immigrating to New Zealand in 2011 and completed his LLB and BCOM majoring in Economics at Victoria University of Wellington in 2024. Matthew spent his final semester on an exchange, finishing his studies at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoys playing basketball, running, and spending time with his friends and family.
