Danyon is a Solicitor in the Litigation Team and is involved in the firm’s Waitangi Tribunal, Māori land law, and litigation work.

Originally from Auckland, with family roots in Malaysia, Danyon has an LLB (Hons) and BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Auckland. He is passionate and enthusiastic about working with people and providing high-quality work for all clients.

He has significant national and international Moot Court experience including winning the New Zealand Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot, reaching the semi-finals in the Asia-Pacific Red Cross Moot in Hong Kong and coaching a team to the quarter-finals of the International Criminal Court Moot in the Hague.

Outside of work, Danyon enjoys a variety of hobbies including photography, travelling, cooking, reading and music. He also enjoys watching football and spending time with friends and family.
