Alan Henwood

Alan is a Consultant in the Business, Property and Personal Legal Services Team.

Alan has over 35 years experience in property, trust and commercial law. His key practice areas include:

  • Commercial and public sector property transactions and leasing
  • Commercial and public sector property transactions and leasing
  • Trust law, in particular its use in public and private sectors
  • Unit Titles and Residential Tenancies. He is a former Tenancy Tribunal Adjudicator.

Alan is widely published on the Unit Titles Act 2010 and well-regarded as an expert in the field. His experience as an adjudicator in the Tenancy Tribunal for unit titles matters ensures he offers real-world advice to Bodies Corporate as to how to avoid disputes and deal with them practically if they do arise
