FREE Seminar – getting your Will right – how you can so easily leave your hard-earned assets to someone you had no intention of benefiting … and “short-change” those you care about …

Bob separated from his second wife some years ago, but did not get around to updating his Will.
That Will left half of his estate to his second wife.
When Bob died, his only children from his first marriage were stunned to find that his ex-second wife was to receive benefits that she would otherwise not have had.
If Bob had simply updated his Will, the anguish and expense of a legal battle would have been saved.
Then there was the fallout over the famous Australian racing car driver Peter Brock whose reliance on a Will Kit meant that his Will was invalidated by the Courts and his partner at the time of his death missed out.
There are circumstances where your Will needs to be updated. Have you had a major change in your life since you made your Will, including:
- Been married, separated or divorced?
- Entered into or ended a de facto relationship?
- Had children?
- Started a business?
- Purchased a significant property?
- Inherited money?
Updating your Will, which can be done quite simply in most cases, will ensure that your wishes are followed. If any of the above circumstances apply to you, it’s important to act promptly to update your Will.
Understanding this area of law is so important that we are holding a FREE seminar which covers the best ways to ensure you protect your family in your Will, drafting Wills to cover the now common situation where there is more than one family to consider, as well as the dangers of putting it off or getting it wrong.
This seminar is an absolute must for anyone who doesn’t yet have a Will, is unsure of what they should include in their Will, has not updated their Will for a few years or has used a Will Kit to try to make their Will.
