Partner Accepts Nomination for Wellington Airport Regional Community Award

Rainey Collins Partner Peter Johnston was pleased to accept a community service nomination on behalf of Te Awe Wellington Maori Business Network.  Te Awe was one of the community organisations nominated for the Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards 2010.  The awards recognise community service by voluntary organisations and was held at the Wellington City Council Chambers recently.

In presenting the awards Wellington Mayor Kerry Prendergast praised the valuable contributions that voluntary organisations make to the community.

The winner of the supreme award for Wellington City was Places for Penguins- a project co-ordinated by  Wellington Forest and Bird.
