Rebecca Sandri
Rebecca is a member of the Maori Issues team, assisting the team in all areas of Waitangi Tribunal claims and historical research.
Rebecca was born and raised in Invercargill, and completed her Bachelor of Laws with Honours at the University of Otago. She also completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Japanese.
While studying at Otago Rebecca worked as a clerk in an Invercargill law firm working in various areas including employment, property, and family law. She has also lived and worked in Japan.
Rebecca enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the theatre, reading and is hoping to do some more travelling, both within New Zealand and overseas.
Qualifications and Memberships:
- LLB (Hons) – University of Otago
- BA in Japanese – University of Otago
- Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand
- New Zealand Law Society
