Jonathon Griffith

Jono is a Senior Solicitor in the firm’s litigation team, specialising in Employment and Family matters. He also practises in general civil litigation and assists with Treaty Settlements.

A Rotorua boy at heart, Jono moved to Wellington in 2006 where he completed studies in Law, Theatre, and English Literature. He has been at Rainey Collins for several years, having worked as a law clerk during his final years at Victoria University.

A problem solver excelling in obtaining practical legal solutions, Jono works closely with the rest of the Rainey Collins team to ensure the best possible outcome for his clients in their personal situations.

Jono likes to keep active in his spare time – with most of it taken up wrestling his Labrador pup, wrangling his chickens, or working on building a mutually respectful relationship with his cat!

A swim coach for the Karori Pirates, he is also a member of the Karori Glory football team, was Director of the 2013 Wellington Law Revue, and is currently secretary of the Wellington Young Professionals.
