Jonathon Griffith

Jonathon (Jono) is a Senior Solicitor in the firm’s litigation team, specialising in Employment, Family and Debt Collection matters. He also assists with Treaty Settlements and other general legal matters.

Completing his secondary education at John Paul College in Rotorua, Jono moved to Wellington where he completed studies in Law, Theatre, and English Literature. He has been at Rainey Collins for several years, having worked as a law clerk during his final years at Victoria University.

Focused on achieving the best outcome in every individual client situation, Jono utilises the very latest on-line research techniques, and is self-assured enough to know when to tap into the wide pool of expertise of other lawyers in the firm. Jono likes to keep active in his spare time. He enjoys a variety of sports and hobbies and is a keen swimmer. Even when not in the pool himself, Jono manages to keep his toes wet as a coach for the Karori Pirates Swim Club, and the rest of his body drenched wrestling his Labrador pup, Jack.
